I like how LJ is now proudly displaying its top communities on its homepage, including this one here at #6:

I feel so proud of this social media tool!

Also, really, Avengers? Did that even have any attractive people in it?

LJ: Artist's impression.

Please add me, because I haven't figured out how to add you.

If it seems worth the effort, I will start doing the uploading/crossposting thing whenever I figure it out, probably in a year or two.

I hope y'all don't mind, but what I am going to do is start posting intentionally intriguing comments and ticking 'facebook' so that everyone on facebook will think my life is more secretive and interesting than it is.

Initial comment ideas:

"It's a good plan, but I think we'll need smaller machetes."

"Sergio told me he only has eight of the diamonds. The other one must have fallen down that well."

"You forgot to add a warning for Beartato's M-preg scene, but I liked it a lot anyway."

Can you think of any more?

The LJ homepage debate as documented here is oddly fascinating. The dissenters are oldschool LJers who all have blurry icons they clearly made themselves in Paint without changing the default font, and write long careful arguments about why celebrity gossip shouldn't take over their home page. The ONTD defenders rush in with color-popped animated icons and answer all the page-length arguments with 'TL;DR'. It's like something out of A Clockwork Orange.
